PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We try our best to describe each product as accurately as possible. Our photographs are of genuine products and not special samples. What you see is what you will receive. However many of the items are handcrafted and will vary slightly from the item photographed. The most common variations will occur when the craftsman has to hand finish a piece or apply a detail. These we consider to be acceptable variations which add to the individuality and character of each item. Colours may vary depending on the materials used. Natural materials such as stones are graded and sized to a standard format and will have only natural variations that are characteristic of their material. None will be synthetically enhanced. Glass will be genuine Murano from Italy or hand crafted lamp glass. Silver and gold will be exactly to the standard quoted, ie 9k, 14k, 18k gold or 925 sterling silver. Appropriate marks and hallmarks may be applied as necessary.
Plated items will always be clearly marked to avoid any misrepresentation and are durable for normal light day to day wear. Please avoid any contact with rough surfaces or abrasive materials as this will damage the plated surface. Items returned damaged in this way will not be refunded.
Every effort is made to provide a product as described, and each item is quality checked before despatch to ensure you will be completely satisfied with your purchase.
We cannot accept responsibility for any variations in colour caused by the browser, software or computer system used by customers.
PRICES
The price quoted for each item on this website includes any UK tax which is applicable at the prevailing rate. Prices and the availability of products is subject to change without notice.

DEFINITIONS
Charmworkshop.co.uk and Charmworkshop.com are the trading names of Glitterati Designer Jewellery Ltd, company number 2833164, registered in England and also referred to as we or us in these terms and conditions.
ORDERS
By completing the checkout procedure you are placing an order with us for the delivery of the product in accordance with our terms and conditions set out below.
All orders are subject to acceptance and to availability of the goods ordered. We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you.
You undertake that:
PAYMENTS
Payments can be made at any time by any major credit or debit card. Payments will be debited and cleared from your account before the despatch of your goods. You will confirm that the credit or debit card that is used is yours. All credit / debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer and we may share your personal information with such parties as are necessary to enable us to do such checks. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will notice.
POSTAGE, PACKING CHARGES, DELIVERY, AND LOST ITEMS
When you place an order each item is despatched individually in a presentation pouch, and packed in a secure padded envelope which will easily fit through most letterboxes. You decide on which method of delivery you feel is best for your purchase. Each option has different delivery timings and conditions.
FREE POSTAGE
All FREE POSTAGE orders are sent using the Royal Mail 1st class postage service . This service could take up to 5 working days to deliver. You will not be expected to sign for the delivery and the item will not be insured. We will notify you of the despatch date. If you have not received your order within 7 days of despatch please send an E mail to info@charmworkshop.co.uk and we will investigate the delay. We will not be liable for any loss or make any refunds if an order is lost in the post. When customers accept the free postage offer they also accept the risk that the item may be lost in the post .
RECORDED DELIVERY
If you pay for despatch by Royal Mail Standard Recorded Delivery your order will need to be signed for at the delivery address. Expect delivery within 3 working days. The item will not be insured.
We will notify you of the despatch date. If you have not received your order within 5 days please send an E mail to info@charmworkshop.co.uk and we will trace the delivery. We will not be liable for any loss or make any refunds if an order is not reported as lost within 5 days of the Recorded Delivery despatch date quoted on your order confirmation.
SPECIAL DELIVERY
When you pay the extra for Royal Mail Special Delivery your order will need to be signed for at the delivery address. Expect delivery the next working day after your order was despatched. We will notify you of the despatch date. If you have not received your order within 3 days please send an E mail to info@charmworkshop.co.uk and we will trace the delivery and arrange a replacement or refund if your order is lost in the postal system or stolen. We will not be liable for any loss or make any refunds if an order is not reported as lost within 3 days of the Special Delivery despatch date quoted on your order confirmation.
EXCHANGES
We make every effort to illustrate and describe accurately each product, however if you are not satisfied with your purchase or gift you may exchange the item for another from our current product range as advertised on our website. Exchanges can only be done within 28 days of the purchase date. To exchange a product send us an E mail with details of the item you wish to exchange, including any code or colour reference you may have, plus full details of the date of purchase and our order number. Also add the full details of the item you would like to accept as a replacement, and any price difference.
Send a copy of your Email address and the item to our office address with a cheque for any additional costs, plus £2.95 post and packaging. If you are buying an item for less than the cost of the original item the £2.95 post and packaging will be deducted from the balance due to you, and a refund cheque will be sent to you with your new item. Only the cost of the product will be used for calculating refunds and additional charges for exchanges. Outbound and inbound post and packaging are always considered chargeable extras.
IN STORE ONLY PURCHASES
Some items on the website are marked as 'in store only'. This means we are unable to supply or sell them through this website but we do have the product for sale at our store Glitterati Designer Jewellery, 1 The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN2 5TD. DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS
In the unlikely event that an item is faulty, or damaged, or has a manufacturing fault when delivered, we will give a full refund of the purchase price or replace the item within 30 days of us receiving the item at our business address. Items can only be considered for a refund if they are returned within 7 days of purchase. Before returning an item please send an E mail to info@charmworkshop.co.uk explaining the reason for the return, and giving the date of despatch to us The customer is expected to accept full responsibility for the safe return of goods and all costs incurred in returning the faulty product. Items lost in the post will remain the customers property and will not qualify for any refund or exchange. We will only refund of the purchase price of any item returned. Postage and packing charges are non refundable and we will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by the misuse of a item bought from our website.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
You may cancel your order within 7 working days from the day you receive your goods. All returns for refund can only be accepted in accordance with the Consumer Protection ( Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Cancellation of orders on the day of placing an order are not accepted for a refund.
To cancel an order the customer must first receive the item purchased. Notice of the intention to cancel should be E mailed to us on info@charmworkshop.co.uk within 7 days of delivery. The customer is expected to accept full responsibility for the safe return of goods purchased and all the costs incurred in returning them to us. Goods must be returned in perfect condition, unworn, undamaged and with the original packaging supplied and any labels still affixed. The original receipt must also be included in the package. Items lost in the post will remain the customers property and will not qualify for any refund. We will only refund the cost of the item purchased. Postage and packing charges are non refundable. A refund will be made within 30 days of safe receipt of the goods at our office address. Only the credit card account used for the original purchase can be credited with a refund. No refunds or returns of goods bought on this website can be made at our retail store.
REPAIRS
We are confident that the products we supply are made to the highest standard, and make every effort to ensure that our suppliers are kept informed of any problems. We will always offer a customer a replacement, exchange or refund if a manufacturing fault occurs within the first 28 days after delivery. After the first 28 days we offer a repair and restoration service for items accidentally damaged, marked, broken, damaged due to neglect or misuse or fair wear and tear. For this service we charge. Before returning an item for repair please E mail us on info@charmworkshop.co.uk with the details of the item, date of purchase, and the problem. We will inform you of the cost of repair and our estimate of how long it will take to return your repaired item, and these details will be confirmed to you by E mail. Your repaired item will be despatched as soon as payment has been received . All repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.
GENERAL
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
If any provision in this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severed from the agreement and this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work , etc Act 1974 and the Consumer Protection Act 1987, Glitterati Designer Jewellery Ltd trading as Charmworkshop.co.uk and Charmworkshop.com confirms that the goods it supplies as a distributor do not present a hazard to health and safety.
